Psychic Photography
Although controversial psychic photography does seem to occur from time to time. Usually imparting an important message from a spirit.
In this example my team responded to a basement apartment in a converted old mansion where reports of a figure appearing to the owners at the foot of their bed almost nightly. The events were so disturbing to them that they moved out a few days later breaking their lease.
The property owner gave us permission to investigate. As we entered, I snapped a photo. In the photo, laying in front of the fire place appeared to be skeletal remains. I took a control photo and the floor looked normal in this second picture. This area would have been at the foot of where their bed would have been.

A medium was consulted and he spent some time in the small apartment, eventually reporting that a young woman who had died during an abortion was buried there. We spoke to the owner and he quickly agreed that we should open up the floor. This was going to be a large job, which we started immediately. We removed the tile on the floor, a thin sub floor then down to dirt. About a foot deeper we started finding the same flag stone at depth that surrounded the old fire place, why anyone would bury these fire place flag stones made no sense. It was at this point we discovered a small ½ inch by 1 inch bone, we couldn’t identify the bone so we placed it on the fire place mantle for later.
The next morning as we arrived, the property owner had changed his mind about the investigation and had hired contractors to pour concrete into the hole and we discovered the bone was now missing. The investigation at this point was over, and there was nothing we could do about it. We later heard that the contractors had to repour the concrete several times as it kept splitting.
Although the method used by the spirit to create this phenomenon is unknown it is thought to be similar to how electronic voice phenomena is created. In both EVP and psychic photography, the phenomena are not noticed in real time but only on later review of the recorded medium.
